Funeral services for Mrs. Kate Riney, who died Sunday, October 20, in the Monroe County Rest Home at Monroe City, were held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, October 23, in the St. Patrick Catholic Church at St. Patrick, Mo., with the Rev. Father O'Duignan in charge. Burial was at St. Patrick.

The pallbearers were Joseph Riney, Patrick Riney, Bernard Baker, Ernie Baker, Donald Reid and Frisby Reid.

Kate Stout, daughter of Andrew and Annie Stout, was born April 10, 1878, in Clark County, Mo. She was married to Pat Riney on November 30, 1889 at St. Patrick. Most of her life was spent in Clark County, except a short time in Quincy.

Survivors include at daughter, Mrs. Francis (Ethel) Basset of Huntington, Mo.; a son, Clarence Riney of Keokuk, Iowa; four grandchildren, Charley, Billy, Becky and Mary Lynn Riney of Keokuk and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Reid of Canton and Mrs. Neil Banks of Eldorado, Kansas.
