Mrs. Amanda Goodman, nee McPherson, wife of A. J. Goodman, died at Gertie, Norfolk County, Wednesday. The deceased was a native of the county and was born at Mount Pleasant March 4, 1852, and was in her fifty-sixth year of her age. She had been an active member of the Baptist church, near Lake Drummond, from the sixteenth year of her age. Besides her husvand, she is survived by four children, Misses Maggie Mag, Annie Amanda, William J. and Charles W. Goodman. The funeral will be held from her late residence.
