Hazel Marie Seymour, 91, of Ceres, California, passed away late Sunday evening on March 24th. She was born on June 25, 1921 in Arkansas.
She moved to California where she then married the late Pete Seymour in 1942. They lived in Ceres together where they had one daughter, Patricia.
Hazel and Pete owned Pete and Hazel's Frosty in Hughson, California in the late 1960's to the early 1980's.
Hazel was an active member of the Ceres Church of Christ and Ceres Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gambling at Black Oak, baking and cooking, gardening and sewing.
Hazel will be missed by her brother, Dale Sanders; her daughter, Pat Baskin of Ceres; grandchildren, Christy (Greg) Cox of Lake Don Pedro and Kevin (Renee) Baskin of Livermore; great-grandchildren, Amanda (Bobby) Sylva, Jennifer (Brad) Denys, Kaylene Baskin and Zack Baskin; great-great-grandchildren, Dustin and Caitlin Denys and Bobby Sylva.
Graveside services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, California 95326, on Monday, April 1st at 11:00am.
