She was born October 4, 1937, in Lonoke County to Ruben and Ida Kinley Walls.
Mrs. Vilches was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, graduating from Watson Chapel High School.
She had worked at Wal-Mart for a short time but enjoyed being a homemaker.
She was of the Pentecostal Church of God faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas E. Vilches; her parents; sisters, Mary Sue Hooten, Margie Stover and a brother, Reverend J. K. Walls.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Blocker of Pine Bluff, Tess Smith of Batesville; a son, George Anthony Vilches of Rison; brother, William E. Walls of Pine Bluff; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services by Ralph Robinson & Son will be 2 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2013, in Black Cemetery with Reverend Billy Payton officiating.
