BEELER — Wilma B. Shauers,
73, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at
Central Kansas Medical Center,
Great Bend.
She was born Nov. 23, 1928, at
the family home in southwest
Ness County to Bid R. and Amanda
(Wagonseller) Prose.
She married Tom Shauers on
Oct. 7, 1947, in Ness City. She was
a homemaker and lifetime resident
of Ness County.
She was a
member of the United Methodist
Church, Kalvesta Quilters,
Friendship Circle, the Stitch and
Chatter Club, all of Beeler, and the
American Legion Auxiliary, Ness
City.
Survivors include her husband;
two sons, Tom, Kansas City, Mo.,
and Pete, St. Paul, Minn.; a daughter,
Tana Fehrenbach, Haven; and
10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a
daughter, Nikii Griffith, and a sister,
Maxine McVicker.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday
at the United Methodist
Church, Ness City, with the Rev.
Buzz Lambrecht officiating; burial
in Buda Cemetery
