FOLLANSBEE, W.Va. - Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend Mary Rose Roach, 66, of Walker Road, Follansbee passed away June 29, 2005, at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, W.Va.

She was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Charleston, W.Va. daughter of the late Pasquale and Adelina Caruso. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Marie Roach who passed away July 7, 2001; and one sister, Argentina Caruso.

Mary was retired from Weirton Steel and The Hub Department Store.

She was a devoted member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Follansbee, where she was on the Parish Council and a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Solidity. She was co-founder of the Stacey Roach Scholarship Fund and Brooke Dance Team; and was organizing secretary for the Follansbee Class of 1955.

Surviving are her husband, Richard W. Roach, whom she married June 19, 1965; two sons, Rick Roach and his wife, Dawn and Scott Roach and his wife, Amy, all of Follansbee; and one grandson, Stone Anthony Roach.

Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Reasner Funeral Home, 1515 Charles St., Wellsburg where Christian wake service will be held 7:30 p.m., Friday.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 2, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Follansbee with Father Leonard Smith officiating. Interment at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee.
