Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Quiram Funeral Home in Atlanta.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stanford Church of God.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Stanford.
Mrs. Hulvey worked as a nurse's aide for 30 years. She was employed at Short Nursing Home in Atlanta, Bartmann Nursing Home in rural Atlanta and the Christian Nursing Home in Lincoln.
She was born June 13, 1933, at Lincoln, Neb., to Elmer M. and Florence R. Hunter Johnson. She married Solomon Franklin Hulvey on June 30, 1953, at Stanford. He died Nov. 9, 1999.
She is survived by two sons, Jonathan (and Terry) Hulvey of Atlanta and Thomas (and Becky) Hulvey of Peoria; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Deloris (and Roy) Strohkirch of DeWitt and Wanda Jean Elsner of Armington; and two brothers, Merle (and Patricia) Johnson of Eurka and Bill (and Pat) Johnson of Clinton.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Joseph Wade Hulvey, and one grandson, Joe Jr.
She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews, and all her family and friends.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
