Father of Mrs. Walter Linn Will Be Buried in Cemetery at Mechanicsburg
Carlisle, Dec. 19 -- Word has been received here of the sudden death of John A. Funk, in Prince Rapert, B.C., Canada. Mr. Funk, who was formerly of Carlisle, and Springfield, O., went to Prince Rupert several years ago to engage in business.
He was a brother of the late I. K. Funk and of B. F. Funk, of the firm of Funk & Wagnalls, New York publishers. His daughter, Mrs. Walter Linn, who resides in Carlisle, until recently, but now lives in Bristol.
The body will be brought to Mechanicsburg for burial. Mr. Linn was formerly connected with a Harrisburg newspaper.
