Death Takes E.D. Kenefick: Edmund D. (Tom) Kenefick, scion of a prominent family of the Galt district, passed away Saturday evening in a local hospital following a short illness. He was born near Galt and 29 years of age. He attended Galt schools, graduating from the Galt high school and later attended Sacramento Junior College. He was known as a progressive dairyman of his district, operating his own farm. Deceased was the husband of Mrs. Adela Kenefick; father of Patricia and Thomas Kenefick, all of Galt, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Kenefick, Galt; brother of John E. Kenefick, Galt; First Lt. Francis O., Kenefick of the United States Army; Mrs. Isabel Tracy, Oakland; Mrs. Violet Denier, Galt. Rosary will be said tonight at 8 o'clock at the chapel of the Wells Funeral Home. Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock at St. Anne's Church with Father John Merchisio officiating. Interment will be in St. Joachim cemetery.
