Alvie E. “Gene” Adcock, 82, of Huntsville passed away Sunday. Mr. Adcock was a lifelong resident of Madison County and worked for many years with Gates Garage. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was retired from Auto Electric Service. He is survived by his wife, Ursula “Sue” Adcock; niece, Phyllis Quinones of Michigan; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Berryhill Funeral Home with the Rev. Shannon Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
