Wayne E. Donat
Services for Wayne E. Donat, 76, of 710 Seerley Blvd., will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Dahl funeral home with Dr. Harvey Nelson officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Donat died Monday afternoon at Sartori Hospital after an apparent heart attack.
He was born Oct. 20, 1890, in Fayette county, the son of William and Adel Donat. He married Grace Linn in 1914. She died in 1950.
They moved to Oregon and returned to Fayette county in 1926 where they farmed until moving to Waterloo in 1942 where he was employed by John Deere.
In 1954, Mr. Donat married Dorothy Wolfe and moved to Cedar Falls. He was a member of First Methodist Church.
Survivors include his widow; 2 daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Ivadell) Sigurdson of New Haven, Ind., and Mrs. Andrew (Lucille) Pals of Meservey; a son, Ward of Roanoke, Va.; a sister, Mrs. H.D. Temple of 216 Colorado Rd.; a brother, Marion of Randalia; and six grandchildren.

He also has a headstone, with his 2nd wife, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls, Iowa #96995927
