Dolores L. Gomez was born on January 26, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas to Macario Gomez and Salome Lopez. He lived most of his life in Abilene. He is survived by his wife, Isabel Gomez of Abilene; three sons, John and Joe Gomez of Abilene and Tony Gomez of Meridian; three daughters, Dolores Hallmark and Belinda Hernandez, both of Walnut Springs, Texas and Rosalinda Gomez of San Antonio; a brother, Martin Gonzales of Ballinger; two sisters, Eva Arroyo of Abilene and Minnie Cortez of Ballinger' 17 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Macario Gomez, Jr. and Lorenzo Martinez; and two nephews, Daniel and Jonathen Portillo.
