Catherine Trimble Elmer Abdill, 70, of Neptune, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was a graduate of Neptune High School. She was a receptionist for the Ocean County Board of Social Services. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church on the Hill, Red Bank, and the Presbyterian Church of Toms River. Born in Bradley Beach, she lived in Neptune and was a lifelong resident of the Jersey shore.
She was predeceased by her husband, Allen Abdill; a sister, Christina Duckworth; and a brother, William Trimble. She was the beloved mother of Vicki Gunn of Neptune; and beloved grandmother of Christopher, Allaura, and Matthew Gunn.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th Ave. at Atkins Avenue, Neptune. Interment will be in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
