She was born Sept. 19, 1972 in Springfi eld, Mo. to Wade Eugene and Lois Carol Flageolle Yarber.
On April 3, 1993 she married Douglass Gerald "Alex'' Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ralph Flageolle; her paternal grandmother, Jane Yarber; an uncle, Bob Dibben; her fatherin-law, Charles Alexander; and two cousins, Alan Yarber, and Michael Flageolle.
She was a devoted homemaker and military wife, and lovingly raised her two children with her husband, Alex.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in education and taught at Mountain Grove Christian Academy, and at the Waynesville School System for several years. She had run a daycare center in her home, and also worked at a pre-school in Heinzville. She had made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life and had attended Rock Chapel Church in Mountain Grove.
Survivors include her husband, Douglass "Alex,'' of the home; a daughter, Madison Lynn Alexander, of the home; a son, Blake Edward Alexander, of the home; her mother, Lois Carol Flageolle, of Norwood; her father, Wade Eugene Yarber, of Mountain Grove; two brothers, Wayco Eugene Yarber and his wife, Holly, of Mountain Grove and Joseph Wade Yarber and his wife, Susan, of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Carrie Anne Guilliams and her husband, Jamie, of Mountain Grove; a number of nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; her maternal grandmother, Doris Flageolle, of Mountain Grove; her paternal grandfather, Max Yarber, of Mountain Grove, and her mother-in-law, Joyce Alexander, of Caddo, Okla.
Funeral services for Jennifer Carol Alexander will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Mountain Grove with Pastor Stanley Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Mountain Grove, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Mansfield.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday in the church.
Memorial donations to Jennifer's Children's College Funds may be made through the funeral home or brought to the service.
