Agnes was born on Jones Island Milwaukee. The Kaszube settlement was located just south of the Summerfest grounds and is now the location of the Milwaukee Water Treatment Plant. She was born to Johanna Buschke Fabisch Cyskowski and August Cyskowski. Her parents divorced sometime before 1915. Afterl the Kaszubes started being evicted from the island due to not owning any of the land legally, she lived with her mother on Hanover St. which is now S. 3rd. She married Frank Kirsch in 1925 and had a son, Frank and a daughter Jean. She lived on Euclid Ave in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood from 1927 until her death in 1994.
