HOLBROOK-Mrs.T.A.Holbrook was born in Georgia,May 5,1822,and died in Flint,Smith County,Texas Sept.12,1907.She professed religion in her early girlhood,and joined the Methodist church in which she lived,and labored until the end.She loved her church,her bible,and the Texas Advocate.Thus she developed into a strong christian character.Which not only gave her great comfort,but left its impress upon her family,and the entire community.She lived what she professed.And many will call her blessed.We lay her by her husband and other relatives.In the old Spring Hill church cemetery.She was the only charter member of her church(save one)She died as she lived,and almost without a struggle,and in perfect peace.She left no parting words,but we are sure that all who knew her will know where to find her.May the god of good grace,who sustained this woman for more than 75 years sustain and comfort and finally bring togather around our fathers throne in heaven all the children,and loved ones left behind.
