Evelyn was born December 15,1919 in Des Arc, Missouri to Arthur Raymond and Nancy Ann Rich Lashley, and departed this life March 28, 2013 at her home in Niangua, Missouri.

She was a nurse for many years, she was united in marriage to James Calvin Southard on August 8,1960.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, son John Calvin, three brother's Amos, Victor, and Vernon Lashley, two sister's Vesta Lashley, Galena Schoonover, and a grandson Michael Southard.

Evelyn is survived by two son's James Southard and his wife Jema of Eldridge, Missouri, Matthew Southard and wife Tina of Phillipsburg, Missouri, four daughter's Elanya Tracy of Conway, Keaven Ann Wright and her husband David of Ballwin Missouri, Chalice Sorter and her husband Larry of Forgan, Oklahoma, Cindy Robins and Keith of St Peters, one stepson Timothy Rhone and wife Paula Fell of Corona Del Mar, California, a brother Ray Lashley and Joe of Grand Junction, Colorado, three sister's Fern Bowman of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Lily Price of Ironton,and Violet Coffey of Clinton, twenty grandchildren, forty three gr-grandchildren, five gr- great grandchildren and several other relatives.
