Eldor served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1955-1956. After he returned from service he farmed in the Town of Rockland. He enjoyed playing fast pitch softball in the Collins league and was an avid bowler for many years. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins where he served on the church council and other committees. He also served on the Reedsville Co-op Board of Directors from 1973-1988.
Survivors include a son Donald of Reedsville, a sister and brother-in-law Doris & Rodney Haese of Brillion and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Eldor was preceded in death by his wife Arlene on December 29, 2006 and a sister and brother-in-law Lorraine and Howard Fischer.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. The Rev. Robert Hankwitz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery.
