A painter by trade, he was a former resident of Mechanicsburg.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Birdie Aughenbaugh Fortney; three step-sons, Seymore B., Leander and Wendell Aughenbaugh, all of Shermans Dale; one brother, Lloyd, Florida.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, at 10:30 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, 37 East Street, Mechanicsburg. Burial will be in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday until 9 p.m.
