Joseph Patrick McBride, 82, formerly of Homewood, beloved husband of the late Dolores, nee Keegan; loving father of Kevin (Elizabeth) McBride, Terrence (Rose Marie) McBride, Mary Catherine (Michael Madison) McBride, Corinne (Gerard) Baker, Dennis (Sarina) McBride, Geraldine (Sean) Julian, Joseph (Helene) McBride and Davida (Ted) Kozlowski; loved grandfather of 23 and great-grandfather of two; dear brother of William (Joanne) McBride, the late Daniel McBride, the late Michael McBride and the late Peggy Evans; and fond uncle of many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. McBride was a graduate of IIT and later received an MBA from the University of Chicago. In 1968 he founded McBride Engineering, a civil engineering and land surveying consulting firm. He was a well-known and respected professional in land development engineering throughout the greater Chicago area. Visitation 3 until 8 pm Sunday at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 am Monday at the Funeral Home, proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 am. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
