From The Houston Home Journal - Mrs. Fannie E. Moreland, widow of the late Mr. W.A. Moreland, died on Feb. 16, 1902. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Perry, GA. Was 55 Yrs. old, born in Crawford Co., GA, came to Houston Co. in 1873. Four times a wife, never a mother. Leaves one brother, Mr. Thomas Gatlin of Cordele, GA and her sisters., Mrs. Webb of Cordele, GA., Mrs. Bruce of Atlanta, and Mrs. Hamlin of near Fort Valley, GA.

Fannie was married to:
1st "a" Causey (I think Jefferson Causey. Crawford Co., GA marriage records for 1868 lists a Jefferson Causey marrying a Fannie Gatlin.)
2nd to Charles A. Whitehurst Sept 28, 1879, Houston County, Georgia He was born ca 1810 in North Carolina, listed in the Joe Brown Census for 1864 in the 619th MD of Houston Co., GA.
3rd to Green W. Davis Jan. 18,1894 in Dooly County, GA. (He died Jan 22, 1899 at the home of his son in Monroe Co., GA where he had gone for business. A CSA Vet.) She was his 3rd wife.
4th to William A. Moreland on Sept 23, 1900 in Houston Co., GA. (CSA Vet.)
