Robert E Wright, 79, Lawrenceville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at the United Methodist Village Main Campus.

He was born Nov. 16, 1933, in Vincennes, the son of Paul H & Hattie Marie (Siefert) Wright. On May 15, 1954, he married Maryann Lange, and she survives.

Robert served in the Navy during the Korean War. He worked at Essex Wire in Vincennes for 32 years. He was a member of Russellville Community Church. He and his wife were Civil War re-enactors for about 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

A graveside service with burial of cremains will be held at 11 a.m. CDT Sat. at Price Cemetery in Russellville. Memorial donations may be given to Russellville Community Church.

Emmons-Macy & Steffey Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
