James Merridith Hatfield, 40, of 761 Grand Ave., Marysville, died yesterday in an automobile accident at Gooding, Ida.
Hatfield, a grocer, was a native of Heavener, Okla., and had lived here all his life.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, of Marysville; two sons, Jimmy Hatfield and Ronnie Hatfield, of Yuba City. He also leaves a brother, Jud Hatfield, of Marysville; and two sisters, Mary Bunell, of Lodi and Margie Buckenmeyer, of Stockton.
Serviced will be conducted in Lipp & Sullivan Chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Sierra View Memorial Park.
