OBITUARY:
Hazleton Daily Standard, May 16, 1908

Mrs. Rosanna Grenawalt, relict of Joseph Grenawalt, died at her home, 26 W. Broad St., yesterday at 12:15 o'clock. Her death was due to illness incidence of old age. Mrs. Grenawalt was born in Lehighton, December 19, 1819, and at the time of her death was aged 83 years, 4 months and 14 days. At the age of 5 years Mrs. Grenawalt removed with her parents to Conyngham, where she resided until she was 16 years of age. At that age she came to this city, where she has resided ever since. She was the oldest resident of this city, having located here when it was but a settlement. Her husband, Joseph Grenawalt, preceded her in death 20 years ago. Mrs. Grenawalt is survived by two children, Mrs. S.D. Engle and Frank, of this city.
