Mrs. Marshall McCown died this morning in St. Mary's Hospital, of uremic poisoning. Arrangements for the funeral have not been announced.

McCOWN FUNERAL TOMORROW
Funeral services for Mrs. Marshall McCown, who died yesterday, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30, in the Dumm Chapel. Services will be conducted by the Rev. J. H. J. Rice, and interment will be in Maplewood.
Verna E. Baskin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Baskin, was born at Severance, Kan., July 3, 1898, and came with her parents to Emporia about five years ago. She was married to Marshall McCown December 24, 1915, and they have lived since their marriage on a small farm near Emporia. Mrs. McCown was of a cheerful, sunny nature and was loved and admired by many friends.

FUNERAL OF MRS. MARSHALL McCOWN
The funeral of Mrs. Marshall McCown was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock was held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Dumm Chapel. Rev. J. H. J. Rice conducted the service and Miss Faye Richards sang. The pall-bearers were J. Simpson, J. H. Richards, Virgil Timbrook, Ira Pyle, George Tunney and Harry Ace. Interment was in the Maplewood Cemetery.
