Charles H. Adams, age 78 years, who suffered a stroke at his place of business here on Saturday afternoon, died early Sunday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Kegley on Carolina Avenue.
The deceased was born in Boston, Mass. During her early life he was a sailor. In later years he followed the painters trade, until about four years ago when he lost his eye sight and since that time he has operated a peanut stand here.
