Graveside service for Alford R. "CHOC" Arnold, 73 year old resident of Lillian, Alabama were held at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, March 13, with Dr.Dan Howard officiating.
Burial was under the direction of Berryhill Funeral Home of Woodville.
Mr. Arnold was born on May 17.1919, in Lincoln County, the son of John Robert Arnold and Fannie Boggs Arnold. He died at 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday , March 11,at the Mercy Medical Hospital at Douphin, Alabama.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WORLD WAR II and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a retired oil field worker.
Survivors include his wife, Estelle Bell Arnold of Lillian, two sons, James T. Arnold and David L. Arnold, both of Gulf Shores, Alabama; one sister, Ora Lee Blackwell of Jackson; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren
