OBITUARY: George C. Arnold (Printed in the Tuesday, May 14, 1996, edition of the Daily News-Sun:

SUN CITY- George C. Arnold, 76, of Sun City died May 13, 1996, in Walter O. Boswell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Arnold was born in Babylon, N.Y., graduated from Bowling Green University and was a teacher and industrial salesman. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, retiring from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonel. He moved to Arizona in 1982 from Ohio and was a member of the Reserved Officer's Association, Men's Golf Association of Sun City, many round and square dance clubs, Peace Lutheran Church and was a Red Cross volunteer at Luke Air Force Base Hospital.

Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife, Ruth; a son, Douglas of Denver; a brother, Robert of Des Moines, Iowa; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd. Service is 10 a.m. Thursday in Peace Lutheran Church, 18265 N. 89th Ave. Burial is in Sunland Memorial Park.
