Mrs. Celia (sic) Kestly, 87, formerly of 1015 S. 14th St., Manitowoc,
died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at Marian Home, Oshkosh, where she had
resided four years.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home
and at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev.
Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Kestly, nee Belinske, was born Oct. 3, 1878, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late Anton and Cecelia Schweitzer Belinske. The lifelong
Manitowoc resident was married to Joseph C. Kestly at St. Boniface
Church April 8, 1902. Mr. Kestly died Sept. 9, 1955. Mrs. Kestly was
a member of St. Ann Altar Society of the church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edward B. Ives, of Richland,
Wash., Mrs. Ralph Sedlacek, of Sheboygan and Mrs. Joseph Bleckinger,
of Oshkosh; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A son, a
daughter, five brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m Wednesday where the
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
