John A Preston, an attorney of Lewisburg, one of the most prominent men of the Greenbrier valley, died very suddenly Thursday night while on his way to Ronceverte to take a train to Clarkburg where he was going to attend the funeral of his mother-in-law, Mrs Davis, mother of Solicitor General John W Davis.
