Mrs. Mary Orth, 1324 So. Ninth street, widow of Peter Orth, died this morning after a prolonged illness, having undergone a surgical operation about a year ago. She was born at Summers, Kenosha county, May 8, 1866, being fifty-four years of age.
Her husband preceded her in death nine years ago and she is survived by two children. They are Benjamin Orth and Mrs. W.J. Wachowitz, both of this city, she having made her home with the latter. Four grandchildren and two brothers and for sisters also survive. They are Nicholas and Mathew Grosser, Mrs. John Furher and Mrs. Henry Sullivan, all of Kenosha, Mrs. Thos. Bain of Russell, Ill., and Mrs. Jos. Teporten of Superior, Wis. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
