Raymond J. Orth, 48, of 2407 Division St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Monday of a coronary attack at his home.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Graveside military services will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Orth was born March 2, 1921, at Manitowoc, son of the late George and Agnes Clark Orth. He married Mildred Burich Sept. 30, 1944, at Champaign, Ill. Mr. Orth was graduated from St. Andrew Parochial school and Lincoln High School,
class of 1939. He was employed for the City of Manitowoc Street Department and was a member of the Teamsters Local 619 and the Otto Oas Post 659, V.F.W. He was also a veteran of World War II serving as sergeant in the Air Force from 1962 to 1965 (sic).
Survivors include his wife; two sons; two daughters, two brothers, and two sisters. A brother, Donald, preceded him in death. (Survivors omitted for privacy)
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
