"Catlin (CNS)--Mrs. Bertie M. Linn, 81, a life resident of the Catlin community, died Wednesday (Feb. 6, 1963) at the Vermilion Nursing Home. She had been a patient there three and a half years. Born March 23, 1881, near Catlin, she was the daughter of William and Ann Bennett Jamison. She was married, July 11, 1901, to Francis Sheridan Linn, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Catlin Methodist Church. Mrs. Linn was the last member of her familiy. She was preceeded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include one son, Everett of Catlin; two daugthers, Mrs. Nellie Clark of Eaton Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Lela Cord of Catlin; 8 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Carrington Funeral Home. Elmo Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Jones Grove Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
