John Thomas Holder Battle Creek John Thomas Holder, 75, died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at his home. He was born November 14, 1937 the son of the late Paul Thomas Holder and Grace Arlene (Wiegand) Holder. Jack was a 1955 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and attended Michigan State University. He was a Postal Supervisor at the Battle the Post office for almost 38 years until retiring in 1994. He was previously employed at Ritzee and Top Hat in Battle Creek. Jack is survived by wife of 35 years: Patti Holder of Battle Creek, MI; Sons: Don (Kim), Tom (Missy) and John (Lisa) Holder all of Battle Creek and Kevin (Roxanne) Leversee of Apopka, FL; Daughters: Kim Leversee Mcnett of Portage, MI and Karla (Gary) Mitchell of Scotts, MI; Brothers: James (Joyce) Holder and David (Kathy) Holder both of Battle Creek, MI; 13 Grandchildren: Jaime, Justin, Matthew Joseph, Trey, Matthew, Daniel, Bradley, T.J., Chelsea, Travis, Mitchel, Cheyenne, Sarah and Hannah; 13 Great Granchildren; Former Spouse: Joan Brabon of Battle Creek, MI. Jack was an avid Michigan State fan and enjoyed golfing, fishing and his computer. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Battle Creek Elks, Eagles and the Pennfield Presbyterian Church. He was proud to be a 29 year member of Alano Club of Battle Creek where he mentor and helped many people. Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday, April 4, 2013 after 2 p.m. where the family will be present 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Pennfield Presbyterian Church, 7979 St. Marys Lake Road, on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery.
