ROUND POND - Elliott Bruce "Pappy" Dodge, Sr., 65, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 at his home, after a courageous battle with colon cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Born November 13, 1943 in Damariscotta, Elliott was a son of the late Charles and Martha Lane Dodge. He attended Edison school, Eddy School, Franklin School and Lincoln Academy. On October 26, 1963 he married Terrie Benner and they made their home in New Harbor. Elliott was a self employed builder who enjoyed building structures throughout Lincoln County. He built two homes that he and Terrie shared over the years and was an intricate part in helping his children build their homes.

In his younger years he was an avid hunter and ice fisherman.

His true love in life was his wife, Terrie, and his children and their families.

He handcrafted items which will become heirlooms in the years to come. He enjoyed puttering around his garage.

He was predeceased by his parents

A celebration of Elliott's life will be held at a graveside service at 1:30, Monday, April 27, 2009 at the New Harbor Cemetery in New Harbor, ME

Arrangements are entrusted to the Hall Funeral Home and Cremation service, 949 Main St. Waldoboro, ME.
