MELLETT, THEODORE "TED," 79, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013.
He was retired as owner of Kentuckiana Chemical and Supply, was a member of Louisville Baptist Temple and Highland Park Masonic Lodge #865.
Mr. Mellett is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shelby (Boatman) Mellett; children, David Mellett and Brenda Garrett (Tim); grandchildren, Christian Mellett, Lauren Garrett, Georgia Mellett, David Mellett Jr., and Logan Garrett; and sisters, Mary Avery, Alice White and Ruth Lockard.
His service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
