Funeral services for Vincent Ray Buckley will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Berryhill – Holahta Family Cemetery west of Okemah. Wake services will be Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 6 -8 PM at the Parks Brothers Chapel.
Vincent Ray Buckley was born August 12, 1963 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Henry Buckley and Lizzie (Fish) Buckley. He passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at his home near Okemah at the age of 49.
Mr. Buckley is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, three brothers and one daughter, April Holahta.
He is survived by his two sons, Soloman and Timothy Buckley of Okemah; one daughter, Elizabeth Buckley of Okemah; three brothers, Jimmy of Henryetta, Johnas of McAlester and Frankie Buckley of Los Angeles, California; one sister, Angela Golden of Okemah and one grandson, Johnas Holahta.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Jimmy Buckley, Jr., Chris Buckley, Chad McClain, Mitchell Harjo, Timmy Holahta and Russell Locust.
Honorary bearers include: Jimmy Buckley, Dave Green, Daniel Canard and Jazz Walters.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah with Pastor Woody Fields officiating.
