Yana was a straight A 1st-year student of Kiev Economical University of V. Getman and a 2008 graduate of №71 school in Kiev (the school with advanced studying of English language).
Yana was such a creative soul. She was passionate for photography and had a great talent for it. Just five days before her death she started a profile on DeviantArt, where some photos made by her are still. She loved to draw. She admitted to writting poetry. Also she was a good musician - she'd graduated from a music school and could play the piano very well.
She loved Japan, art, cats, anime, cimema, unusual clothing, enjoyed reading and introspection. She adored music (her favourite genres were Industrial, J-Rock, Gothic Doom Metal and favourite bands Lacrimosa, Shmeli, L'Ame Immortelle, Tristania, OOMPH!, Nochnyje Snajpery, Melnitsa and many, many others) and attending concerts.
She spoke and wrote both Ukranian and Russian without mistakes, knew English well and dreamt to learn German and Japanese.
Her nicknames were Kendoru and Candle.
On Jan.18, 2009 in the afternoon she fell from 16th floor of the house she lived in on Vyborgskaya street in Kiev (but her flat was on 4th floor). It is oficially stated that her death was due to suicide, but none of her friends has ever believed it.
Yana is survived by her parents, little sister (born in 2003), grandparents and friends.
