Spot was adopted from the SPCA in Wilkes Barre, PA., along with his sister, a little tabby named Tigger. Spot, in turn, adopted Jordon Brinzo, the little boy who wanted nothing else for his seventh birthday but this little ball of fur. Through the years, Spot grew to be quite the tom cat. His claws were long and sharp enough to shred the largest roll of paper towels. With his teeth he could render a cardboard box into little pieces in minutes. Spot could also melt the heart. He would allow babies to pull his ears and whiskers without a scratch.
Unfortunately, both Spot and his sister were found to have a genetic tendency to develop a type of cancer. A tumor was removed from his shoulder. Eight months later, he began to lose weight. An inoperable tumor was discovered on his tongue. Spot passed away with his best friend Jordon at his side at the veterinarian's office. His sister kitty, Tigger, had passed away, unexpectedly, the day before, at home.
Spot is survived by his caregivers Jordon and Jeremy Brinzo,
and Janet Quick. He will also be forever missed by his twin step-sister cats, Muffin and Pushkin.
No cat was ever loved more.
