Dorothy Lee Watkins, age 81, passed away Monday April 8, 2013 at her residence in Harrison. She was born April 15, 1931 in Marsena, Arkansas to George Henry and Emily Kaler Daniels.

Mrs. Watkins was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Levi Strauss after more than 20 years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, fishing and reading and she had a special place in her heart for her grand babies.

She is survived by two sons: Charles Henry Watkins of Farmington, AR and James Dennis Watkins of Fayetteville, AR; three daughters: Marilyn Annette Campbell Margaret Ann Breedlove of and Betty Annetta Akins all of Harrison; a sister: Julena Mae Blair of Fayetteville, seven grand children: Michelle LaVada Andersen, Christy Dawn Williford, James Aaron Watkins, Jacelyn Renee Booher, Teresa Michelle Garcia, Eric Dwight Campbell, Jaime Kyla Thompson; and seven great-grandchildren: Brett Pate Andersen, Alauna Kailyn Little, Kendred Thomas Thompson, Kylee Faith Campbell, Jace Christopher James Campbell, Schon Denzel Booher, BaLynn Ruth Kroamer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Watkins; her parents; two daughters: Emily LaVada Watkins and Marilyn Elaine Watkins; two brothers: TC Daniels and William Howard Daniels; sister: Betty Aline Pendley; grandson: Christopher Darnell Campbell; niece: Karen Sue Pendley; great-grandson Kendall James Pritchett.
