REINHARDT A. BRANDL

Reinhardt A. Brandl, age 93, a former resident of The Regency House, Manitowoc, died on Wednesday morning, Aug. 13, 2008, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.
He was born on Dec. 29, 1914, in the town of Cato, son of the late Charles and Sophia (Vogel) Brandl. Reinhardt attended St. Mary Parochial Grade School in Clarks Mills. On Feb. 6, 1934, he married the former Genevieve Kuehnl at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. She preceded him in death on March 2, 1986.
Reinhardt farmed all his life in the town of Manitowoc Rapids. He was elected to the position of town chairman from 1952 to 1965. He was also elected as county board supervisor for the same period. Reinhardt was a member of the Farm Bureau and Lake to Lake Dairy Co-Op.

He was preceded in death by two sons: Wayne and Elmer Brandl; a daughter and son-in-law: Elaine and Robert Sickinger; a granddaughter: Alissa; four brothers and
three sisters-in-law: Walter Brandl; Ed and Aurelia Brandl; Alfred and Florence Brandl; Kenneth and Lorraine Brandl; and one sister and three brothers-in-law: Hilda and Nick Schiesl; Joseph Miller; and Norbert Heinzen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial
will be the Rev. Gerald Foley, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Alverno.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008. A prayer service
will be held at 7:30 p.m., led by Brenda Korinek.
Friends may also call on Wednesday morning at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
