LACON -- Dorotha E. Tillotson, 89, formerly of 512 South St., died at noon Friday, July 19, 1996, at Parkhill Skilled Medical

Complex in Chillicothe, where she lived since 1992. Born May 3, 1907, in rural Stark County to Joseph and Ireabelle E. Hendrick Gates , she married Arthur Fleming on Jan. 5, 1923, in Iowa. She later married William Tillotson on Aug. 27, 1963, in Lacon. He died Oct. 15, 1990. Surviving are two sons, Charles E. Fleming and Jackie L. Fleming, both of Lacon; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Billie Muriel Fleming) Ahlstrom of Lacon; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. One brother, one grandson and one great-granddaughter preceded her in death.

She was head cook at several restaurants in the Lacon, Chillicothe and Rome areas.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. The Rev. Kay Harding will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the memorial home. Burial will be in Lacon Cemetery.
