Charles Thomas Kenney, 72, of Lexington, husband of Bessie Kenney, died Friday, September 5, 2003, at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. Born in Versailles, he was the son of the late Olla and Elizabeth Stith Kenney. He was retired from IBM and was a member of Crossroads Christian Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Robert A. Mullins of Lexington; a stepdaughter, Emily D. Kays, Richmond; his graddaughter, Whitney Paige Mullins, Lexington; two brothers, William Kenney, Lexington, and Joe Kenney, Florida; and two sisters, Edna Coleman, Lexington, and Pat Suber of Florida. A sister, Francis Miller, is deceased.

Services were conducted Monday, September 8, 2003, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road, by the Rev. Glen L. Schneiders. Entombment was in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Larry Coleman, Dona Carty, Nathan Perry Jr., Shane Kays, Johnny Crain and Tommy Miller.
