Mildred was the daughter of William and Delilah (Risner) Whitaker. She married David Allen Walton Sr. on Feb. 25, 1946. The couple had eight children: Susan Eileen; Billie Ann; John Edward; Connie Louise; Melvin Eugene; Craig Allen; Neal David and Don Alvin.

Services for Mildred Walton, 58, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Bringman & Co., Funeral Home. The Rev. Alvin Stein will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Walton died Thursday night in Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. Formerly of Upper Sandusky, she had been residing at 16171 Sherwood, Findlay.
She was born in Indiana on May 7, 1923 to William and Delilah (Risner) Whitaker. She married David Walton in 1947 and he survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mr. Grant (Susan) Garn, Perrysburg; Mrs. John (Billie Ann) Kapp, Findlay; and Mrs. James (Connie) Hutson, Lima; five sons, John, Sunbury; Melvin and Don, Belle Center; Craig, Forest; and Neal, Alexandria, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Sam (Gladys) Risner and Mrs. James (Maxine) Sexton, Carey.
Mrs. Walton was a homemaker and a member of the United Presbyterian Church Belle Center.
