My grandfather was the son of Samuel and Sarah Moser Martin. He married Mary Catherine Sherfey in 1899; they had five children: Charles, Elmer, Rachel, Lee, and my mother Mary Martin. He farmed in the Graceham area of Frederick County. He was killed in a car accident on the evening of 18 May 1941.
