Farmer from Ijamsville, Frederick Co., MD. He was the son of William E. and Emma Boyer Hyatt. Sang in the choir at Grace Trinty UCC, Pearl, Frederick Co., MD. He never lost his temper except for one time when he was a student at the one room school in Ijamsville and then he pulled the eyeglasses off the face of another student, broke them into two pieces and handed them back to him! He married on 24 Feb 1910, Nannie Michael; he was 33 and she was 27. They had two children, William and Pauline (Mrs. Cliff Coughlin). He died in 1951 after a short bout with cancer of the liver.
