Robert H Carroll
Robert H. Carroll, 40 years old, died Tuesday night in his home, 2166 Singleton Street. A native of Sherrodsville, O., he had lived in Indianapolis the last ten years and was an employee of the Chapman - Price Steel Company. Mr. Carroll was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 8:30 o'clock tomorrow morning in the residence and at 9 o'clock in St. Catherine's Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Survivors are the widow, Mrs Viola Carroll; three sons, Robert Carroll, Jr. and John William Carroll, both of Indianapolis, and Elmer R. Carroll of Cleveland, O.; three daughters, Roseann Marie Carroll, Frances Carroll and Mrs. Mary Wilkinson, all of Indianapolis; his parents, Mr and Mrs Harry Carroll of Wolf Run, O.; two brothers, William Carroll of Norfolk, Va.; and John Carroll of Wolf Run, and five sisters, Miss Mary Carroll of Hubbard, O.; Miss Anna Carroll, living in Michigan; Miss Tillie Carroll of Toledo, O.; Miss Lucy Carroll of Wolf Run, O., and Miss Rose Carroll of Richmond, O..

Harry's mother was Mary Brady Carroll born in Castledermot Parish, Kildare, Ireland to James Brady and Elizabeth Keogh Brady. Rosellen was the daughter of James Haley and Mary Jane Crouch Haley Lane Williams, being widowed three times. At some point Rosellen used "Lane", her step-father's name, as her surname.
