Jayne S. Ferrigno(nee Phillips), age 72, longtime resident of Deptford, NJ, died Wednesday, April 10th at home after a long illness.
She built her life for her family and a home filled with laughter, love and kindness. An avid reader, animal lover and crossword puzzler, Jayne's love of puns and wonderful sense of humor helped make her home a sanctuary for friends, family and acquaintances. Raised in the mountains of California, as a teen, she moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she met and married her best friend and husband of 54 years, Carmen Ferrigno, Sr.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Carmen; devoted mother to Valori Ferrigno, Antoinette(Robert)Bohannon, Carmen(Sandra)Ferrigno.
Jayne was known as Ma'am and Mimi to her beloved grandchildren, Vincent, Valori, Kylie, Alayna, Alec and Jude. Also survived by brother, Joe Phillips, as well as many loving brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews and cats, Koko and CeeJay.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ on Sunday, April 4th from 6:30 p. m. to 8 p. m. where her funeral service will begin at 8 p. m.
Private interment at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery. Flowers are welcome.
