Funeral services for Byrul Barnhart, of Wewoka OK are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, April 15, 2013 at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church Wewoka, with Martin and Donna Gustin officiating, and burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Byrul Barnhart was born February 12th, 1928 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to the late Mark and Birdie (Wynn) Barnhart. He passed away in Stroud, OK Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 at the age of 85 years.
Byrul and Essie M. Smith Barnhart were married November 11, 1954 in Holdenville, Ok and made there home in Wewoka. He was a graduate of Spaulding High school and worked in the oilfields as a pumper. He served in the US Army from 1950 to 1956. He was a member of Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church and loved hunting, fishing, and training horses . His passion was music, he was an accomplished musician playing numerous instruments.
Preceding him in death are his parents, four brothers Boyd, Tob, Marvin, and Mathew Barnhart; three sisters Arlene Harr, Ruby Nalley, and Loretta Sublett; a daughter-in-law Marie Barnhart.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years Essie of the home; three sons Mark Barnhart and wife Karen, David Barnhart and the late Marie Barnhart, Joby Barnhart and wife Liz all of Wewoka, a daughter Judy Roberts and husband Shawn of Stroud, OK, grandchilren; David Barnhart, Dylon Barnhart, Seirra Barnhart, Beth Barnhart, Seanah Morrison, Krystal Carolton, Brooklyn Barnhart, Charley Barnhart, Coty Barnhart, Shawna Muson, Marcus Roberts, Brandon Roberts, Meghan Roberts, Holly Barnhart, and Hanna Barnhart; ten great grandchildren , and a host of other relatives and friends.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Wilman Davis, Judge Sawyer, Alfred Campbell, Rick Poff, Scott Morrison, Brandon Carleton, Bart Smith, Shawn Roberts, Erwin Holata, Ron Holata, and The Men of Bethel Pentecostal Holiness. Church.
