Kentucky New Era obit posted 9/6/1968 reads as follows:

Mrs. Johnnie Winsett, 76, of Greenville, died at noon Thursday in Muhlenberg County Hospital following a short illness.

Services will be held at 10am Saturday at Gary Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. John Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Hale Cemetery in Christian County.

Mrs. Winsett was born March 15, 1892, in Christian County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Ray.

Surviving are three sons, Al Winsett, Hopkinsville, Daniel Winsett, Christian County, and David Winsett of Greenville; four sisters, Mrs. Dale Rogers and Mrs. E.H. Rogers, both of Hopkinsville, Mrs. Thomas Austin of Drakesboro, and Mrs. Willie Epley, Central City; three brothers, George Ray of Cincinnati, Ohio, Hobard Ray, Hammond, Ind., and Estel Ray of Drakesboro; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
